SEO services in Texas
What a Texas SEO company should do for you every month
Six jobs, done in this order, because the first three move the map pack fastest for a local business. Every package covers all six; bigger packages do more of them.
Google Business Profile and the map pack
Categories, services, service areas, photos and posts set up for how people search in your part of Texas, so you show in the map for the towns you actually serve.
Citations and listing cleanup
Your name, address and hours made consistent across the directories Google reads. Old addresses, duplicate listings and the DBA that never matched your sign get fixed.
Reviews, the honest way
A simple routine for asking every customer, plus reply wording for good and bad reviews. No gating and no incentives, which break Google's rules.
Pages for your services and cities
One page per service that earns money, and city pages only where you have jobs and something real to say. Katy is not Kyle, and the pages show it.
Links you can check yourself
Guest posts on real websites, Web 2.0 pages on big publishing platforms and second-tier amplification, listed one by one in your report.
A report you can read in five minutes
Every link with its live URL, the page it points to and the anchor text, plus where your target searches stand. No screenshots of vanity charts.
One state, several search markets
Texas isn't one market, and your SEO shouldn't treat it like one
We pulled the search numbers for SEO and web design services for 200-plus Texas places in October 2026 (Google Ads data through DataForSEO). The same service gets searched very differently in each metro, and the competition differs even more. That's why we plan by city.
Houston
1,300
searches a month for "houston seo company"
Spread-out suburbs that search on their own, and the highest click prices we found in the state.
Houston SEODallas
2,900
searches a month for "dallas seo"
The busiest Metroplex market, with Plano and Frisco searched separately.
Dallas SEOFort Worth
320
searches a month for "fort worth seo"
Searched apart from Dallas, and the easiest of the five big markets to win.
Fort Worth SEOAustin
3,600
searches a month for "austin seo"
Directory lists hold much of page one, and many buyers sell beyond Texas.
Austin SEOSan Antonio
480
searches a month for "san antonio seo"
Bilingual searching, military families and River Walk visitors in one market.
San Antonio SEOEverywhere else
El Paso, the Valley, the Panhandle and county seats
Smaller searches and lighter competition, so the basics win faster. One trap: El Paso and Hudspeth County run on Mountain Time, and hours set in Central confuse customers.
Plan your towns
Every Texas area with its own page
Wherever people search for SEO or web design help in real numbers, we wrote a page about that market: what Google shows there, the local economy, and the towns around it.

Case file: a Texas law firm
A Texas injury firm climbed into the top 3 on the map in five months
A respected personal injury firm in a major Texas metro, already busy, kept losing high-value searches to bigger multi-practice firms with larger budgets. Five months of focused local work on its most profitable keywords put it in the top 3 of the map pack.
- Qualified case inquiries
- up 500%
- Local map pack
- top 3 for its most profitable keywords
- Organic visits from relevant local searches
- up 350%
Golden package, January to May 2025. Like every case file on this site, it doesn't name the client.

How it works
From the first audit to the monthly report
Free audit
You send your site. Within one business day you get a written audit: where you stand, who outranks you in your market, and the first three fixes.
A plan sized to your market
We match the package to your cities and competition. A Lubbock shop and a Houston firm rarely need the same thing.
Monthly work
Business Profile, citations, reviews, pages and links. First deliveries land 8 to 18 days in, depending on the package.
A report, then your call
Every month you see each link and where your searches stand. Keep going, change size, or cancel with one email.
In their words
What clients say about working with this team
A local service owner, a small HVAC company and a skeptic who checked every link himself. Their quotes don't say where they're based, so we don't claim they're Texan.
Calls up steadily for five months
"Before this, I'd paid for ads, boosted Facebook posts and a freelance SEO, and nothing stuck; the PPC leads didn't even cover what I spent. This team went after local keywords that had real searches but little competition, kept the goals realistic, and built authority links with a natural spread of anchors (brand name, bare URLs, generic phrases and exact match). Five months in, the phone has been ringing more each month, and several of my key keywords and map listings now sit in the top 3."
New clients say they found us on Google
"Our site was close to invisible, and as a small HVAC shop I figured SEO was either over my head or out of my budget. Joe walked me through it one step at a time and never promised more than he could deliver. Progress has been steady: we rank now for local keywords other companies fight over, and new clients keep telling us Google is how they found us."
From 5 visitors a day to about 500 by month four
"Honestly, I expected the usual agency story: pay up, get nothing. Joe told me plainly what SEO could and couldn't do, and he talked me into a smaller package than the one I had picked. Two months in, my site went from 5 daily visitors to 60; in month four it was getting roughly 500 a day. I looked up every link in Ahrefs and Semrush myself, and they were on real sites with real traffic. I've since moved to a bigger package."
Before you hire anyone
How to pick an SEO agency in Texas
Searches for the best SEO company in Texas mostly return directory lists. Lists can't tell you how an agency works. These six checks can, and they apply to us too.
- 1.Prices you can read before the first call. If an agency won't say what a month costs, ask why.
- 2.No long contract. Month to month means the agency has to earn the next month.
- 3.A list of every link, with the URL, so you or anyone you trust can check it.
- 4.Your Business Profile, domain and website stay in your name. The agency gets manager access, not ownership.
- 5.Honest timelines: months, not days, and no promise of a ranking position.
- 6.They ask which Texas towns you serve before they talk keywords.
FAQ
Texas SEO questions, answered plainly
How much does SEO cost for a Texas business?
Our packages run from $65 to $575 a month, month to month, or $75 to $620 as a one-time campaign. What you need depends on how many cities and services you want to rank for and how hard your market is: a Fort Worth term is usually far easier than the same term in Houston. The free audit ends with a size recommendation.
What does an SEO company actually do each month?
For us: Google Business Profile updates, citation building and cleanup, review-generation work, on-page fixes, and link building (guest posts, Web 2.0 pages and amplification links). Then a report that lists every link we built with its live URL, the page it points to and the anchor text, and where your target searches rank.
How long until we see results?
Usually months, not weeks. Business Profile and on-page fixes can move map rankings in smaller towns within the first two or three months; competitive metro terms take longer. It depends on your competition and where your site starts. We don't promise positions, because nobody can.
Do you work with my competitors?
We may work with more than one business in the same town or trade, and we tell you that up front. One client's data, reports and plans are never shared with another, and we don't offer market exclusivity.
Is there a contract? How do I cancel?
No long contract. Plans are month to month: send one email before your next billing date and we stop. The links already built stay where they are, and your profiles and site stay in your name.
Who does the work, and where are you?
A small team that has done SEO since 2009 and served more than 15,000 clients. We work with Texas businesses remotely, by email, phone and video calls. There's no walk-in office; book a call on any weekday, Central Time.
Is SEO still worth it now that Google shows AI answers?
For local businesses, yes. When we checked 79 Texas searches for SEO services in October 2026, a map pack still showed on 45 of them, and AI answers lean on the same signals: a complete Business Profile, consistent listings, reviews and clear service pages. Those are the things we work on.
Can you build Spanish pages for us?
If your customers search in Spanish and someone on your team can answer in Spanish, yes: separate Spanish pages on their own URLs, written by a fluent person, linked properly to the English versions. If nobody can reply in Spanish, we'll tell you to wait.
